The Philips ReCare Gait Trainer Treadmill combines many versatile adjustments to help patients feel confident and secure during their training. It helps patients who are suffering from neurological challenges or recovering from a musculoskeletal injury. The easy-to-read feedback windows display METs, symmetry, cadence, stride length, steps and pace. Use the preprogrammed workout or customize a program. Each program adapts to the patient?s biofeedback (gender, weight, age, etc.) to maximize results. Pediatric patients and stroke sufferers can relearn to walk with the integrated parallel bars that adjust in both height and width to fit users of all sizes and fitness abilities. Running the full length of the walking surface, the parallel bars can be removed for your mobile patients. The removable step provides a lower height transition for user who need a little extra stability when getting on the machine. Combined with the tread belt locking mechanism, patients can feel safe and secure as they prepare for their exercise session.
